The old and new winery Eugen Laux

Eugen Laux (*1895 - +1981), a trailblazer of viticulture and vine breeding in our region, established his winery after WorldWar II, following the latest aspects at this time. From that point on, until its timewise closure in 1977. Eugen Laux epitomised quality and expert knowlegde and was therefor well known even far beyond the borders of our homeland Palatinate.

I took, together with my family, the challenge in 2005 to follow the footsteps of my grandfather and reopened his winery. In the spirit of my



grandfather, our winery is a family business working with traditional methods as well as with the latest guidelines in wine making. Wineproducing is our passion, because a good wine needs more than the right kind of vine, the adequate location and good weather. Manufacturing of high class, enjoyable wines means to abandon high yields, to cultivate vineyards in an environmentally friendly and nature-orientated way and to use modern quality oriented grape processing technology.
